Spring: 12u and below fee is $65, 14u fee is $70. If the umpire arrives at the game and the game is cancelled before starting, the umpire is entitled to half the umpire fee; the umpire has the discretion to return all or a portion of that half fee. Once the game starts and two complete innings have been played the umpire is entitled to the full fee. At 14u Sections 1 and 2 and 12u Section 1, the Home team pays the Plate Umpire and the Away team pays the Field Umpire. If only one paid umpire, the Home team must provide a base Umpire. There must be two umpires.
Fall: home plate umpire fee of $55 for each game. The home team pays the plate umpire in the first game and the away team in the second game; the field umpire is provided by the home team in the first game and the away team in the second. If both teams elect to only play one game then the Umpire is given $55 per team.
Spring: 10u Section 1, Plate. 10u Section 2, Plate. 10u Section 3, none. 8u, none. 12u Section 1, Plate and Base. 12u Section 2, Plate. 12u Section 3, Plate. 14u Section 1, Plate and Base. 14u Section 2, Plate and Base. 14u Section 3, Plate.
Fall: none at 8u; plate and field umpire arrangement as above from 10u Section 1 through 14u Section 2.

The league has been served by two long-standing umpire assignors. Bill Siegler passed away on June 23, 2020. Tom McDonald passed away on May 9, 2024, having assigned for LCYBL, the Midget League, ECTB and the former Adult league for over 20 years.
